BeGiuls - Contemporary tailoring: I'll tell you how the brand was born

BeGiuls was founded in 2011 with the opening of the atelier in Florence's Oltrarno district.

BeGiuls sono la contrazione del mio nome e cognome, Giuliana Becattini, disegnatrice e fondatrice del brand: Be le iniziali del cognome, Giuls il nome con il quale parenti e amici mi chiamano da sempre.

What inspired founding the brand was the constant search for a high-quality, contemporary-designed product to enjoy in everyday life.

I have always had a great passion for the "sartorial" product because I have always thought that these clothes, besides being made with passion and attention to the smallest details, give great charm and personality to the person wearing them. The other great feature that has always fascinated me is their high degree of customization and thus uniqueness, as they are created together with artisan designers on the indication of what the customer who chooses them likes best. 

Every day in the atelier I sew iconic garments to enhance the beauty and femininity of every enterprising and bright woman who does not want to give up the elegance and linear style that distinguishes BeGiuls. And I constantly strive for new, natural and sustainable fabrics, bringing my "vision" inside my clothes.

It is the fabric that tells the story of the dress: bold colors and fine weaves meet prints and applications of trimmings and applied inserts with hand embroidery, all finishing details that define its construction: nothing is left to chance when I make a Be Giuls dress.
