BeGiuls – Contemporary tailoring: I’ll tell you how the brand was born

BeGiuls was born in 2011 with the opening of the atelier in Florence, in the Oltrarno district of Florence.

BeGiuls is the contraction of my first and last name, Giuliana Becattini, designer and founder of the brand: Be are the initials of my last name, Giuls is the name by which relatives and friends have always called me.

What inspired the founding of the brand was the constant search for a high-quality product with a contemporary design to be enjoyed in everyday life.

I have always had a great passion for the "tailored" product because I have always thought that these clothes, in addition to being made with passion and attention to the smallest details, give great charm and personality to the person who wears them. The other great feature that has always fascinated me is their high customization and therefore uniqueness, since they are created together with artisan designers on the indication of what the customer who chooses them likes most.

Every day in the atelier I sew iconic garments to enhance the beauty and femininity of every enterprising and brilliant woman who does not want to give up the elegance and linear style that distinguishes BeGiuls. And I am constantly committed to the search for new fabrics, natural and sustainable, bringing my "vision" into my clothes.

It is the fabric that tells the story of the dress: bold colors and fine textures meet with prints and applications of trimmings and inserts applied with hand embroidery, all finishing details that define its construction: nothing is left to chance when I make a Be Giuls dress.
